Sharing and permissions

Set the permissions on a Project or Program to manage the visibility and editing settings.

Only users with Full access to the project or program will be able to update its permissions.

Permissions settings

Can delete the project / program, update its permissions, and delete tasks / objectives (and everything in Append and Read)

Can edit and view the project / program and add tasks / objectives. Cannot delete tasks / objectives they did not create.

Can view the project / program and the tasks / objectives within it

Cannot view the project / program

To make a private project, update the permissions so that everyone in your organization has None access.

Navigate to the project or program where you would like to manage the permissions.
By default, the creator of the project or program is given Full access, and everyone in the organization is given Append access.
Click the ... button at the top-right > Share
Use the modal to adjust the permissions of yourself or the other members in your organization.
- There must be at least one user with Full access for a project or program.
- The most permissive option is applied for each user.
